Independence that promotes trust and credibility.
The Hanford Concerns Council is comprised of members who bring a diverse set of experiences, knowledge and perspectives. The members come together with the unified purpose of preserving safety and the free flow of information about safety issues for employees engaged in securing and disposing of nuclear waste at the Hanford site.
From top level management at the participating companies and Hanford Challenge to a former whistleblower, a former union representative, and a former Department of Ecology employee, this Council is a nonprofit entity that provides a non-confrontational approach that focuses on solutions, not on blame.
